Across Goma and Idjwi, dozens of schools and health centres have gone from rationing water to a dependable, standard-compliant supply. The MAJI AFYA BARAKA programme installs storage tanks, handwashing stations and treatment points where they are needed most.
The programme now delivers more than 330,000 litres of safe water every month, paired with hygiene education that helps communities sustain the gains long after the infrastructure is installed.
